As if 2020 wasn’t weird enough, a Turkish propeller-paraglider, who claims to be a professional in the sport, drifted of course and landed in the Zahrani region along the coast of Adloun, a village in the south of Lebanon.
Assuming the point of departure of the man was Turkey, the man would have flown more than 100 km which is plausible compared to the longest recorded motorized-paragliding flight of 9,000 Km according to the Guinness World Records.
Initial information state the man to be Mahmut Ertunc, born in 1990, from Bingol in eastern Turkey.
Further details about the incident have yet to be revealed as the Lebanese authorities and intelligence services continue their investigation into the matter.
