Lebanese singer, songwriter, composer and actress- Tina Yamout– kicks off the romantic autumn season with matrimonial vibes, shedding light onto her own personal experience with true love. On believing in fate and finding ‘The One’, Tina Yamout shares her intimate wedding moments with her latest release, Mqaddar w Maktoub.
Mqaddar w Maktoub brings a new up close and personal angle to Tina’s compositional and visual work, immersing us in a world of marital bliss and happily ever afters. If you’ve been looking for a new perfect bridal entrance song, this is your go-to track! With romantic string-filled verses and a sweet, joyful chorus, Tina’s lyrics tackle the biggest romanticized truths we debate with ourselves and resolves them with a light-hearted poetic confrontation.
Written and composed by Tina Yamout, and produced jointly by Tina, Elie Barrak and RAYAN, Mqaddar w Maktoub handles the ever-debatable topic of believing in fate, and whether finding “The One” is an act of fate or that of choice. Released as a celebration of Yamout’s 2-year wedding anniversary and set in her own dreamy wedding, the music video features her grand bridal entrance where she performed the song she wrote to her husband especially for that specific moment.
“As a single woman, I was very keen on exploring how love functioned. I would ask a married couple how they knew that their partner was ‘The One’, and their answer to me was always ‘You just know’. I used to find that an absurd answer, until it happened to me.”
She continues, “It’s so difficult to find lyrics that do justice to this feeling, this decision, this huge life-changing step. In the song I ended up talking about how I couldn’t find those words, and how it was in fact as simple as ‘You just know’. That’s the beauty of fate. You know it’s right when it feels right. Also, I wanted the melody to reflect the two most important parts of a relationship, Love and Playfulness. I find that a couple’s consistency in incorporating humor and playfulness in their relationship is vital for its survival.”
Mqaddar w Maktoub is Tina’s eighth musical release, part of her long-awaited and highly anticipated album “7aki Ma Nqal” (translated to “Words Unspoken”). Tina’s previous releases, “Mamnou3”, “Kan Asdi”, “Raqisni”, “Thawrit Ghadab”, “Ilit Ismi”, “Sa7eb Kelmi” and “Jeet Laandak”, all have earned significant organic recognition, bringing Tina a whopping 5 Million Plays and 125,000 followers on Anghami.
With singles from “7aki Ma Nqal” dropping during this year, we’re wondering what else Tina has to say on that album, and do the tracks reflect personal experiences as this one?
Recently residing in the United Arab Emirates, Tina Yamout is yet to explore new horizons in a land that greatly embraces creativity and uniqueness. With her songs trending on top charts in the Middle East, Yamout’s independent artist career, her authenticity and raw talent are sure to find massive growth in the coming period.
