Beirut’s popular and loved Instagram food account, Beirut Food, has officially launched a new NFT project under the name “Cravy Chunk” in collaboration with talented artist Tatiana Khalil, known as “Tativerse” along with two other local partners Christian Mardo, known as “Mardoverse”, and “Ramboverse”.
NFT stands for non-fungible token. In simple terms, it is a digital item that is unique and irreplaceable that can be bought and sold. It didn’t take long for this Lebanese group to jump on this global trend, developing the “Cravy Chunk” NFT project, which allows you to become the official owner of special art piece(s); where you can bet on its increasing value, enjoy ownership, or sell it to other interested users.
The main idea behind the project is to support the fight against hunger in Lebanon and will also hopefully expand worldwide through international collaborations.
Part of the proceeds from the sales of the NFT’s will be donated to various local and international organizations who are actively working to ensure that families receive their basic needs. Furthermore, the project aims at promoting digital art by providing a digital space that interested artists can benefit from by publishing their pieces on the blockchain.
This project will include collaborations with different restaurant chains, talented artists, and NFT fans. The “Cravy Chunk” NFT project paves the way to incorporate Lebanon into the advancing digital world, altogether while spreading, food art and love.
