As part of Kempinski’s Corporate Responsibility Strategy and in line with Kempinski Summerland Hotel & Resort’s mission to support the local community, Kempinski Summerland celebrated the start of the festive season with a joyful Christmas event hosting little heroes fighting illness, and are supported by CHANCE Association- CHildren AgaiNst CancEr.
Celebrating Christmas for the second time since its opening, Le Salon lounge, on 5 December, was filled with the joy and giggles of the little brave ones, who relished the magic of the Christmas season with the presence of CHANCE president Dr. Roula Farah, volunteers, parents, the media and influencers.
During the event, the children enjoyed listening to Christmas carols and decorated a 6 metres buche with Executive Chef, Georges Mansour, Pastry Chef Elie Aoun and all the team. After the decoration, they took their buche with them and left with memories worth a lifetime.
As a global company, Kempinski believes its responsibility extends beyond its employees and guests, into the communities in which it operates. In addition to its hotels’ individual engagement in socially responsible initiatives that meet the specific needs of their local community, Kempinski also has a corporate social responsibility programme that is lived by all employees, whether at a corporate and regional level or within an individual hotel.
